A graduate of The American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa, Michelle
Kirkpatrick has been a freelance court reporter since 1986. After reporting
for Kirkpatrick And Associates in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for eight
years, Michelle returned home to her native Iowa in the fall of 1994 and
started her own freelance reporting business in 1999. Michelle has
served on the board of the Iowa Court Reporters Association and is currently
ICRA's volunteer webmaster. She has three sons:

Cullen, 14; and Corey, 10.
